Killing Lincoln
Wood Pencil / Graphic Design / Digital & Mobile / 2014
We created an immersive site where get involved in Booth's conspiracy and become private detectives, 1865-style. The rich parallax design gave us a fluid canvas that allowed for depth and movement. We used Google Street View to show people current images of these historic locations and a Then/Now feature lets viewers toggle between old and new photos of the same buildings. Viewers could even enter their ZIP code to see which location they're closest to. Overall, the site brings history to life, letting viewers step into the mind of a killer and investigate his political and personal motives.
