‘I Will Return’ brought emotion to the category of self-storage. The creative idea was brought to life with a heart-rending story about that most tender of relationships: a boy and his teddy bear. About to be separated amid a growing cacophony of driving rain and stormy weather, the boy reassures his teddy that he’ll be ‘safe’ at Safestore with a rousing speech. The TV spot, directed by award-winning Dougal Wilson and shot with cinematic flair and big orchestral soundtrack, ends with the campaign line: ‘Safestore the things you love’.
