Kyoto, the ancient city in Japan, has been renowned for its traditional handicrafts for over 1,200 years. However, they are now in decline because of cheap, mass-produced goods. Takezasado is a long- established company that brings beautiful wood-block printing to the world. This poster for Takezasado was created under the slogan of the revival of Japanism: ‘Re Japon’. The wood-block print highlights Kyoto’s traditional crafts heritage.
