Tobacco Body
Wood Pencil / Digital Design / Websites / 2013
Do you remember the pictures of black lungs from school? ‘Tobacco Body’ is exactly the same concept for the iPad age. It’s a tool for teachers to show how tobacco changes our bodies to help school kids think critically about smoking. To reach the kids we had to highlight something that is relevant to them. Lungs aren’t a top priority for teens, so we included other symptoms of smoking more related to appearance and attractiveness, from zits to bad breath. We’ve taken the age-old shock effect and made it even more shocking with today’s technology. And it’s all credible science.
