A Room for London
Graphite Pencil / Spatial Design / Spatial Design / 2012
DKA in collaboration with artist Fiona Banner were selected to design ‘A Room for London’, a temporary installation perched on top of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London throughout 2012. The brief was to create a room on one of the most visible sites in the British capital, where up to two people at a time could spend a night in an exemplary architectural landmark. Visitors to the room are invited to create their own narrative by recording their experience onboard. The room also hosts a guest programme of special visitors, artists, writers and cultural commentators
