The Endangered Wildlife Trust is a conservation group providing vital awareness about endangered species. Statistics have become prevalent in the mass of information people face every day, and are easy to ignore. The public was no longer responding to the statistics the EWT was releasing. To increase the funds essential for wildlife conservation, we had to bring back the stopping power of statistics. Behind every number that makes up a statistic, there is a living animal. We had to make people see the animals behind the information. And it was from this insight that we conceptualised our idea: to put faces to the figures. ‘Riverine Rabbit’ and ‘Northern White Rhino’ were also selected as single executions in the ‘Poster Advertising/Free Format’ category.
