Nike Basketball’s “Basketball Never Stops” campaign celebrates a player’s true love of the game and the desire to play no matter the time or the place. The campaign included three films, and featured basketball greats LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Amar’e Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitzki and Sue Bird, with Hall of Fame coach Mike Krzyzewski and entertainers Questlove and J. Cole playing among athletes and fans around the world. The campaign premiered globally on October 30, 2011, amid the NBA lockout, on the day NBA season is typically supposed to start. “Shine,” the campaigns second film, featuring LeBron James, speaks to the players who know hard work and dedication - no matter the time of day - are what the game is built on.
