John Lewis, Christmas, The Long Wait
Graphite Pencil / Film Advertising Crafts / Direction for Film Advertising / 2012
This story follows a boy in the days leading up to Christmas Day. We see him wishing time away as he waits for the big day to arrive. But when he wakes on Christmas morning he ignores his own presents, and gets a gift he has crudely wrapped from his wardrobe. We finally realise that he has been excitedly waiting to give the perfect gift to his parents. We see a super which reads: ‘For gifts you can't wait to give.’
