Elections Ontario’s sole responsibility is to help the people of Ontario vote in Ontario’s provincial election. Our sole responsibility was to help it do that. To make voting easy, Elections Ontario had to make all its material friendly and easy to understand, so we gave it a whole new friendly look in both print material and online. We redesigned everything from its voting handbooks and voter information guides, to the voter registration cards so they were easy to read. We extended this ethos to TV, outdoor advertising and a piece called ‘the householder’, which is distributed to every household in Ontario.
