Don DeLillo is one of America’s greatest writers. What distinguishes him is his prophetic vision – the ability to see and chronicle his homeland like no one else. So when Rebecca Ikin at Picador commissioned INT Works to redesign his novels, his extraordinary gift for perception became the brief’s focal point. INT Works considered Noma Bar’s illustrations the perfect vehicle to visually communicate DeLillo’s work. Noma offers a bold image for each cover that might seem conventional at first, but reveals more with a deeper viewing. Design and content are perfectly matched.
