Keiichi Tanaami is a Japanese artist and graphic designer whose work has transcended various art mediums. His radical artistic creations, which are influenced by his dreams and memories, have often been the source of inspiration for young contemporary artists. WERK No.18 visually documents his psychedelic visions with more than 200 illustrations from his personal collection. The cover of each issue is hand coloured with different forms of powdered pigment such as chalk, crayon, granite and pastel, emulating Keiichi Tanaami’s colouring methods.
