GlastoTag

To build awareness of Orange’s sponsorship of Glastonbury and celebrate the festival’s 40th anniversary, we decided to take a huge photo of all 350 metres of the Pyramid Stage field with everyone in it. GlastoTag was born. We stitched together 36 photos, presented the image online and invited visitors to find and tag themselves in the crowd using Facebook Connect. With 1.3 million visits to the site, 7,000 tags and 7,000 Facebook likes, GlastoTag was lauded as an example of the ‘golden age of the industry’ and achieved an official Guinness world record for the most tagged photo.
