Pure Waters
Graphite Pencil / TV & Cinema Crafts / Editing / 2010
In order to look believable, ‘Pure Waters’ needed to be told with an apparently simple narrative and a no tricks, no frills approach. Everything, from script and direction to cinematography, editing and effects, needed to be flawlessly integrated in a manner that would make it real and believable while still bringing the fairy tale side to life. The editing itself needed to be invisible and rigorous; if we had indulged in too many details the story would have lost credibility. Much time was spent on stripping each scene to its bare minimum, achieving a sobriety in the story telling rarely seen in a commercial.
