The Earphones Note
Wood Pencil / Packaging Design / Physical Shape / 2010
Earphones from Panasonic offer great sound quality. The new package design for the Stereo Earphones RP-HJE 130 had to clearly communicate this product benefit. It also had to stand out among the interchangeable packaging designs of the competition, in order to reach a target group that owns well-designed, high-class mp3 players. The new design uses the universal symbol for music: the note. By cleverly arranging the earphones inside a special box, they appear to look like two eighth notes. So the earphones show at first sight for whom they are made: passionate music lovers.
