Wood Pencil / TV & Cinema Crafts / Cinematography / 2009
This is a simple story of a boy running home with a loaf of bread under his arm. The twist is that his journey takes him through all the major events of the last century – from the suffragettes and the First World War to the Blitz and the 1980s Miners’ Strike. It’s a 122 second epic, covering the 122 years that Hovis has been baking its bread. And the moral of the story? That Hovis is ‘As good today as it’s always been’.
