The U.S. birthrate is at its highest level in more than 35 years. This coincides with the launch of the first ever Volkswagen minivan: the Routan. Naturally Volkswagen grew concerned that people everywhere were making babies just to justify their selfish desire for German engineering. And where there’s a cause, a celebrity crusade is sure to follow. So VW and actress/advocate Brooke Shields teamed up to bring the issue to light. Brooke also offers up a solution – The BabyMaker3000 – which allows online users to make a baby without actually 'making a baby'. Join Ms Shields as she campaigns to create widespread awareness about this troubling epidemic known as the Routan Boom.
