White Cliffs
Wood Pencil / Poster Advertising / Roadside Posters / 2008
The incumbent World Champions entered the 2007 tournament on a poor run of form. However, even with their backs against the wall, both Nike and the England team believed they still had the willpower, passion and team spirit to do what no rugby team had done before – come out fighting and successfully defendthe Webb Ellis Cup. The choice of the white cliffs at Dover was not only a nodto their fierce patriotism, but a statement of their intent during the upcoming battles they faced in France.
