The brief was to encourage people aged 25 plus to volunteer for Samaritans, a UK charity that provides a helpline for people in distress. As contact with Samaritans is based on talking, we designed the ads around distressing images in vectorscopes (visual representations of sound). The campaign has run too recently for figures to be available, but early interest has indicated that it will be one of the charity’s most successful yet.
