We wanted to show in a humorous way how important it can be to speak other languages. A recruit in the German Coastguard is listening to the radio. Suddenly, he hears the signal from an English ship in distress, "May day, may day, we are sinking!"<br/>He speaks into the microphone announcing the German Coastguard with a strong German stress, “Hello, zhis ist zhe German Coaztgard.” <br/>The ship repeats in distress, “May day, we are sinking, we are sinking.” <br/>The recruit then answers, “Whatz are you sinking about?”
