The Sketch Look Book was created by Gagnaire and Mazouz, in collaboration with designers Ich&Kar and photographer Erwan Frontin. Ich&Kar's goal was to create a contemporary bibliophile edition that could represent the essence and artistry of chef Pierre Gagnaire and Sketch. The unbound publication contains an embossed outer slipcase, which offers an analogy for boundless artistic experience. The use of Polyart Tearproof synthetic paper provides ease of handling for a book of this scale, plus a lightness and resistance to finger marks and grease. The vivid colours of Frotin's highly saturated photographs were perfectly reproduced using staccato UV printing technique. By incorporating the sponsors into the concept of the book, Ich&Kar emphasised the collaborative vision of the project.
