Dragon focuses on the relationship between a father and a son, and is presented from the son's perspective as he dreams about the heroic journey his father takes when he leaves home on a business trip. The spot begins with the father grabbing his United Airlines ticket and briefcase and stepping out of the front door of his home. He sees a tyre swing in the front yard and decides to look in on his sleeping son before leaving for his trip. He pulls up his son's blanket, and the young boy launches into a dream of an incredible journey in which his father flies off on a giant silver bird to a faraway forest. His business suit transforms into a suit of armour. Sitting down to a meeting at a giant round table with fellow knights, a dragon suddenly attacks, forcing the knights to defend themselves. The boy's father ultimately slays the fire-breathing adversary and is crowned a hero. Back to reality, the father returns home to his son, who is now hanging upside down on the tyre swing. The father brings his little boy a small toy as a gift from his business trip.
