Taxi / Flatpack
Wood Pencil / TV & Cinema Advertising / TV Commercial Campaigns Any Duration / 2006
Taxi Driver: A naive young couple get into a taxi outside a station late at night. They hand the taxi driver an address on a piece of paper. The driver asks them if they are new in town and they nod. He drives off. A map shows the exceptionally long route he chooses to take them to their destination, which is actually close by. He turns to them and charges them an exorbitant fare. The title appears on screen: 'How does he sleep at night?' The shot then cuts to the taxi driver relaxing at home in the evening, calmly sipping a hot mug of Horlicks. Flat Pack: A bored man is working on a flat pack furniture assembly line. It is his job to put the bag of nuts and bolts into the flat packs. Every now and again, he surreptitiously removes an Allen key from a nuts and bolts bag and throws it on the floor, purely for his own amusement. A fellow female worker looks on in disbelief. He returns her look with a 'what do I care' expression. The title appears on screen: 'How does he sleep at night?' The shot then cuts to him relaxing at home in the evening, calmly sipping a hot mug of Horlicks.
