The iMac G5 stands suspended in mid-air, perfectly balanced. To allow adjustment of the viewing angle with a light touch, the centre had to be the centre. This is achieved by paying as much attention to the design and weight of internal components as to the outside. With hardly any desktop footprint, all the components of the iMac are enclosed within the widescreen flat-panel display. The iMac houses an iSight camera built in, almost invisibly, above the display. The simple six-button Apple Remote stows away neatly and magnetically on the side of the iMac when not in use.
