The brain’s reward system is activated when we listen to music associated with happy memories, releasing dopamine and creating a sense of joy and nostalgia. Memories associated with music are emotionally charged and can trigger intense recollections from the past linking to specific events.
Universal Music Group staff have created millions of memories for others through the power of music, now it's their turn. ‘U’ is an event for the whole of the UMG staff in London, to show them the memories they have made for others. Now we're making it their turn, creating an event for every person to be recognised, and a night that they will always remember.
