New Blood Entry — OPERATION OZONE
Google Fonts & The Typographic Circle / 2024
Losing the ozone layer is a big issue for humans and nature, yet human activities cause 80% of the ozone depletion, and people still tend to forget about it.
After lockdown, scientists have found that the ozone layer heals itself due to fewer ozone-damaging substances being emitted from human activities to the atmosphere.
To remind people and raise awareness to do good to the ozone layer, we have visualised the invisible.
This environmental campaign, OPERATION OZONE uses the variable font, SixtyFour, to visualise the ozone layer thinning.
What did the judges have to say?
Taken from recording - 'An amazing, authentic approach to a problem the world has been talking about for decades. The attention to detail and research ad approach to this brief is nothing short of a success. On an executional level, this project could easily be showcased as professional work in the real world, and no one would question it. It excels beyond the brief, bringing this idea to any person regarding their mode of transportation, and it could easily be a glbobal campaign,. An easy vote for me - amazing work!'
