New Blood Entry — Embassy Abortion

The lack of access to abortion is affecting thousands of Ukrainian women who have suffered from sexual abuse by Russian soldiers during the war. Forced to flee from the right to abortion, towards Poland's restrictive laws.

To help Ukrainian women regain control, The Case For Her and Hey Jane allied with the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland. Taking advantage of the laws regarding Embassy:
"When entering an embassy, the laws of the embassy’s country take effect."
— Making it possible to offer Ukrainian women access to legal and safe medical abortion within the embassy.

To reach the Ukrainian women, we give them a care package right before migrating to Poland, consisting of essential human rights including a specially designed pregnancy test, allowing access to the embassy.
