Top Trumps wanted to reintegrate current youth culture and introduce themselves as a status symbol amongst 18-25-year-olds. As part of that demographic, we considered our own nostalgic attachment to Top Trumps and compared it with what we now perceive as being of similar importance, as young adults. As a magazine that explores modern culture, the latest trends, and strives to empower youths, we found Dazed magazine to be a reflection of our interests today. Our proposed campaign is a special edition collaboration between Top Trumps and Dazed100, highlighting young change-makers and creatives through a set of iconic collectible Top Trumps cards. Combining the iconic status of Dazed magazine with the nostalgia of Top Trumps, this partnership is a staple for current Gen Z pop culture.
