Bringing the relevance was a difficult task- primarily due to the fact that many things today are ephemeral, which is such a stark contrast to the timelessness of books. The difficulty was finding the sweet spot between pop culture and classic books. Through my research I saw the data of how influential memes are to the masses; I did some deep digging and tried to experiment with different ways books can be translated into the language that young adults would be interested in. In my opinion, the most influential part of this brief was being able to unravel how to intrigue the viewer, and that understanding these memes, can give the reader a sense of satisfaction- knowing they understand the reference. And if not- it intrigues them into wanting to learn more.
