It takes dedication to learn a new language. Patience and motivation. And it’s really easy to give up after a few weeks, just before a daily habit has been created.
Research shows that it takes 66 days to form a new habit, or “a settled practice, especially one that is hard to give up.”
Sounds hard? Well, being dedicated is easy when it comes to things we’re genuinely passionate about. So in order to turn Duolingo into a daily habit, we need to put language lessons in a context that people are already invested in.
