There is a rise in the number of people who worry about climate change and are anxious about the future. So much so psychologists have coined the term ‘eco-anxiety’. A major factor in this rise of eco-anxiety is the constant consumption of negative information in the media.

At giffgaff we believe in ‘people power’. We want to encourage the public to be the hero of the giffgaff recycling story because making sustainable changes, no matter how small, can help overcome feelings of anxiety as well as literally saving the planet.

The aim is to create a safe and positive space regarding e-waste within the media using a 20 second TV spot, digital display banners and Instagram story assets.
