The main problem for this brief was finding a light, yet disruptive way to show the 4 step recycling process. Not being able to use animals, phone eating monsters were created, these monsters are shown to steal phones for taste pleasure. However, this the rare phone elements harm the monsters in a myriad of ways and so they hand these phones in to make money with giffgaff. The TV spot is positioned as a news break as there is a lot of content and so fits the fast pacing of the ad. The banners and stories build the world and the background of the monsters, revealing more personality and emphasising more about the value old phones have.
