50% of college students change their major, but that decision can be so intimidating that they might not do it. So, Fossil wants to award students who need that extra time with the first scholarship dedicated to changing their major, because in college extra time isn’t free.

The Major Change Scholarship begins with a digital campus takeover, sending messages of affirmation through college clock towers through AR. The scholarship is then awarded to students who change their major and post with the hashtag #MajorChange, becoming a viral moment of academic bravery.

Those students then become Fossil Band Ambassadors, representing their school, and split decisions. And no credits go to waste when their old major hours are transferred into Fossil credits, buying them even more time in the future.
