New Blood Entry — Proof of XPerience

Gen Z is much more pragmatic than previous generations. They are serious about their careers, but it can be difficult to find a nice job without experience and recommendations, even after graduation. We used this insight to attract them to learning languages with Duolingo.

The app will give Zetters not only language skills, but also practical benefit — Proof of eXPerience. Duolingo evaluates users’ soft skills based on their behaviour in the app. For example: ready to try a new language? — ambitious. Communicate a lot — sociable. Learning new words fast — well… fast-learning! 

An official certificate will boost learners resume with confirmed skills and increase its visibility in the most popular job search services. The more Gen Zers practice in the app — the more eXPerienced they are.
