Disney Comics+ is a rebranding of the older Disney Comics. Many people that grew up with paper-based comics have a nostalgia that can never really be transferred over. Also, the stories they read and love so much have been lost with the times of digitalization. And as gen-Z in the US and Asia spend a more significant amount of time with webcomics. It presents an excellent opportunity for Disney as it already has an extensive library of comics. These older comics will get a new breath of life and a second chance to transfer the old nostalgia to the newer generations. At the same time, new artists will make their own unique stories and create a new legacy. Promotion will be done with a 100 years celebration of Disney, via a fanart webcomic event. It will be a pre-launch event that invites 100 local artists all over the globe to show their love for Disney by making new webcomic stories. 10 winners will be featured on the main page on the launch day of Disney Comics+.
