New Blood Entry — Courts of 2050

Connect4climate needed a guerilla campaign that will encourage sports fans to act against climate change.

Climate change makes the sea level rise. As a result, many sports venues will be at risk of flooding by 2050.

Sports venues produce massive amounts of greenhouse gas emissions. To tell sports fans about the problem, we went to where they spend their free time – street sports facilities.

We made the goals, nets, baskets, and tables unreachable. Their extra height represents the water level in 2050. Each goal carries a QR code, leading to a petition that urges sports venues to adopt green energy.

In short, we spoiled the game to help save the planet.
