New Blood Entry — Yellow Circle

Since 2019, the Yellow Economic Circle is initiated to fight against Hong Kong’s police brutality by boycotting pro-police shops (blue shops) and rewarding businesses that stand with the movement (Yellow shops). As the government continues to ignore the ongoing issue, “Yellow Circle” is introduced — a bike hire scheme that utilises its identity system to strengthen the Yellow Economic Circle, encourage riders to discover more yellow shops through cycling. Its identity system has applied as visual language, user classification and visual indicator to increase users’ activeness of cycling regularly. Yellow shops identified by locals will be recommended to tourists who are visiting Hong Kong. In addition to raising awareness, all profit will be donated to support victims of police brutality.
