One of the main reasons people don’t read is because where they read isn’t right. Therefore, Penguin will heighten the reading experience of 18-30 year olds, by helping them to read in the right place. Using plaques and advertising, Penguin will give reading places recognition. Readers can then search on maps for ‘places to read’. This will guide them to their nearest #penguinplace. They can review the places and share them on social media. For Penguin’s 85th anniversary, they will protect places with over 850 social media check-ins. This means places right for reading will be maintained for future readers.
