Girls have 1.3 million fewer opportunities to play and try sports than their male classmates, making it much harder to find athletic activities that they love. This makes a huge difference as interest and enjoyment are some of the most effective motivators that keep people in sports.
Nike wants to challenge these barriers by flipping the idea of a tryout on its head. Turning the question "Am I good enough?" into "Is this the sport for me?" and giving girls the chance to explore and foster a passion for sports and activities normally beyond their reach.
