Everyday, in Italian airports, 150 kilograms of plastic and 3000 litres of water go to waste. So our proposal for HSBC is “The Water Path”. With “The Water Path” we want to make people aware and make them realise how considerable this problem is. It is a water recycling system that walks together with passengers through the whole airport journey, from the security check to the gate. First it collects passengers’ water. Then it shows how it could be reused to donate life to plants thanks to an animated billboard and, in the end, another billboard that is constantly updated, shows how many litres are being saved that day.
