In India, menstruation is a taboo and so, menstruating women are deemed “impure”.
This situation leads to social stigma and exclusion because they can’t talk with anyone.
We created the app “Share you period” to connect girls of different countries and societies to make them feel better and not alone anymore.
To do that we made a partnership with Hike, a free instant messaging service that works also offline.
Girls only need to touch on the calendar the day their period starts and they will be automatically connected with who is going through the same menstruation’s feelings.
