Shoppers expect a more personal service, where John Lewis & Partners will reposition their gifting experience to be more responsive to the busy time-short urbanites to help them find their perfect gift.
Historically John Lewis & Partners have a reputation for representing animals in their Christmas advertisements. I wanted to capitalise on this by creating a gifting app which will include a dog, as dogs are the most loving and thoughtful animal where they look up to their owners with loyalty and unconditional love, dogs are the perfect character for John Lewis & Partners. Bringing this experience to a gifting application and being a sub brand to John Lewis & Partners, the dog will be named Lewis.
Lewis will be the users 'ai' buddy by alerting the user and digging up the perfect gift depending on the celebration for that person or take a different route and take Lewis for a walk through the John Lewis store directing to your chosen gift.
This way we give our audience the gift of an experience with John Lewis & Partners trusted K9. Lewis.
