New Blood Entry — Be Here & There

Be Here & There is a program designed for elderly people in care homes. It aims to give them an opportunity to experience the Edinburgh Fringe Festival whilst being in the comfort of their own home. This is done using VR technology. The program utilises young volunteers to assist the elderly. The platform works through a kit, sent round to the elderly persons home. A date is arranged by a caregiver and volunteers arrive to help on the date to set up the VR headset using the kit. They can use the experience to reminisce with ease.
