In 2006, Blake Mycoskie travelled to Argentina, which led to the creation of TOMS and changed his life. We want to use travel to inspire younger generations in the same way – helping them both to look at their lives afresh and improve the lives of others worldwide. “Travelling Soles” is a volunteer travel programme that sends young people to work with TOMS’ 100+ NGO partners. To maximise PR and media coverage, we’ll launch it with our “Travelling Soles” collection. For every item sold, we’ll “give” one volunteer to an NGO. Travel can have a purpose.
