New Blood Entry — Shop Till We Drop

Within my underlying theme of consumerism, I intend to highlight the constant desires we have for things we cannot have. Overcoming the Monster of longing for model figures that we are fed as reality. The Quest to constantly, often mindlessly, fill our baskets with that we do not need. Buying from cooperate businesses whilst independent shops struggle. Ignoring those forgotten by society, the hungry, the homeless. These are Tragedies. Looking at the mundane, I questioned what we take for granted. In this capitalist society, we have become greedy, vain and ignorant. Let's open our eyes and appreciate what we have.
