New Blood Entry — Everyday Stories

I chose to capture everyday, mundane scenarios that are widely relatable. Visualising then illustrating them as simple, stripped-back images, aimed to promote the importance of small-scale actions in our hectic world. Especially how these small ‘plots’ form the bigger story of everyday life. The plots are: Rebirth: washing away stress from your life, to sooth and cleanse, ready for the next day; Overcoming the monster: the monster is symbolised through alcohol and cigarettes;  simultaneously ruining these completes the challenge; Voyage and return: visualised through the journey of ‘gathering’ food and returning to your home, juggling busy lives.
