We believe that bravery requires that you take an ethical stand. By calling for the end of unpaid internships we take the first steps towards a fairer more diverse design industry. 'Design is Work' hopes to start a conversation by levelling the playing field.Through humour, our conceptual webstore helps young designers take a stand against exploitation and give credit to those who facilitate positive change in the industry. Unpaid internships are detrimental to students, workers, and employers alike, but the truth is easier to swallow when presented with a light-hearted joke.
