To stay true to the show and its characters, we rotoscoped actual footage with a handmade, rough aesthetic to appeal to the viewer base.
We used a restricted colour palette to reference the British flag.
We used contrasting slow scenes and flashes of contradictory imagery to reflect how the series explores these characters with empathy.
