The Torch is an application that lets us discover again. With current technology, anyone owning a smart phone has lost the ability to discover something with fresh eyes.

Imagine navigating to a destination, without knowing where that destination is. Instead, you are following a description of an Airbnb host's experience of that place and using a minimalist compass-like interface.

It is not the location user's search for, it is the experience.

Somewhere cozy, lively, sophisticated, outside, romantic. It's these words that people search for, not a specific location. Who knows what they'll discover. Torch is not exclusive; everyone can use it to explore their city.
