For 85 years, the Institute of Design has pioneered ways to solve the world’s most daunting challenges. It is responsible for landmark techniques like human-centred, systems, and behavioral design, to name a few. The side effect of all that innovation was a loss of clarity, so COLLINS was invited to help define the Institute of Design’s world view and resharpen its purpose. At the Institute, design is an intelligent evolution, a dynamic process aimed at unlocking new possibilities. COLLINS defined its purpose as ‘creating generations of evolutionaries’, inspiring a new voice and brand that could constantly evolve.
