Stem cell research has the potential to cure diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s. But current stem cell collection methods are so invasive that researchers can't get enough samples to make these cures a reality. It turns out that period blood is rich in stem cells. The Cure Cup turns a traditional menstrual cup into a stem cell preservation device. For the first time, periods could potentially become cures. By empowering people to contribute to potentially life-saving research and expanding researchers’ access to stem cells, it's opening the door to the future of health.
